About
About us
Nasiha Community Center is a non-profit religious organization. It’s mission is to serve the community and spread the message of Islam based on the guidance of the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), upon the understanding of the Companions (As-Sahaba) and those who followed them in goodness.
Our History: In the early 1990’s, a few Ethiopian Muslim community members in the Northern Virginia area came together to learn and remind each other about their religion. And they started gathering at one of the their houses on a weekly basis. Through the years this community has grown to its current state where it is educating and providing beneficial knowledge to Muslims in the greater DC Metro area.
